I was a Pocket user — does my library survive?

Yes. Wallabag imports the Pocket export file directly: your articles, favorites, and archive come across. Our import guide covers it step by step.

Is my reading list private?

It’s your own instance account, encrypted in transit and held on access-controlled EU servers. We’re precise about limits: articles are not end-to-end encrypted (the service fetches and stores readable copies to work), and we don’t look at your content except as needed to run the service.

What if a saved page disappears from the web?

That’s the point — Wallabag stores its own clean copy of the article text at save time, so your library doesn’t rot when the internet does.
