Budget (Actual) imports both classic YNAB4 files and current-YNAB exports — accounts, categories, and transaction history included.
Everything on "your dashboard card" is at gateholm.com/account.
Classic YNAB4: find your Budget.ynab4 folder (Dropbox or Documents) and compress it into a ZIP. Current YNAB (web): the community exporter at json-exporter-for-ynab.netlify.app authorizes against YNAB's official API and downloads your budget as JSON. (Alternative: create a Personal Access Token under YNAB's Developer Settings and fetch the budget JSON yourself.)
Visit your Budget address from the dashboard card and enter the server password.
On the budget file screen choose Import file (if a budget is already open, use the menu → Close file to get there). Pick YNAB4 for the ZIP or nYNAB for the JSON, and select your file.
Two habits map differently: make a Credit Card category for overspent card transactions, and use "Hold for next month" to mirror YNAB's to-be-budgeted. Coming from YNAB4, run Settings → advanced settings → Repair split transactions once if splits look odd in reports.
Bank files import too: open any account and use Import for CSV, QIF, OFX, or QFX statements from your bank.
