Move your passwords to Gateholm

Every password manager can export its vault, and Gateholm Passwords (Bitwarden-compatible) can import all the common formats. Ten minutes, and everything — logins, secure notes, cards — moves over.

You'll need (about 10 minutes)

  • A Gateholm Vault account — free or paid, set up from your dashboard
  • Your old manager still installed, so you can export from it

Everything on "your dashboard card" is at gateholm.com/account.

  1. Export from your old manager

LastPass: Account Options → Advanced → Export (saves a CSV). 1Password: File → Export → the .1pux format. Bitwarden: web vault → Tools → Export vault (.json). Dashlane, KeePass, Chrome, Firefox, and the rest all have a similar export — CSV is the universal fallback.

  2. Open your Gateholm vault

Sign in at passwords.gateholm.com with your master password.

  3. Import the file

Tools → Import data. Pick your old manager's format from the list (LastPass CSV, 1Password 1pux, Bitwarden JSON, and dozens more), choose the export file, and confirm.

  4. Spot-check, then set up autofill

Open a few entries to confirm everything arrived, then install the browser extension (the 30-second autofill guide covers it) and sign in on your phone.

  5. Delete the export file

Delete it from Downloads and empty the trash. Once it's gone, cancel the old subscription.

The export file is your entire vault in plain text. Import it promptly, then delete it — don't leave it sitting in Downloads or email it to yourself.

Imports run inside the web vault: entries are encrypted in your browser before anything reaches our server, the same as everything else in your vault.
